Flight/Hotel Packages

Flight Options

Our wedding will be held at Forte da Cruz, which is in Estroil. Estoril is about a 20-30 minute drive from the Lisbon airport. Connections are always an option, but the following cities have nonstop flights to Lisbon (Delta is obviously our airline of choice!):

-Boston (Delta, TAP Air Portugal)
-Chicago (TAP Air Portugal)
-Miami (TAP Air Portugal)
-Montreal (Air Canada)
-New York - JFK (Delta, TAP Air Portugal)
-Newark (United, TAP Air Portugal)
-Philadelphia (American)
-San Francisco (TAP Air Portugal)
-Toronto (Air Canada, TAP Air Portugal)
-Washington, DC - Dulles (United, TAP Air Portugal)

For those of you traveling from Detroit, you may want to check out Air Canada from Windsor (with a connection in Toronto). These flights are often significantly cheaper than departing from DTW.

Flight & Hotel Packages

For many of you (depending on your departure airport), you may find the best deal by booking a flight and hotel package. The main hotel for our guests will be the Hotel Cascais Miragem. The Miragem is bookable in packages offered by Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, and United Vacations. Orbitz, Expedia, and Tavelocity will allow you to combine the Miragem with a variety of different flight options, including our preferred airline, Delta!

When searching for packages on Orbitz, Expexia, and Travelocity, please enter "Cascais, Portugal" as your destination and not Lisbon (unless you want to stay in Lisbon). For United Vacations, select Lisbon as the destination.

If you plan on traveling before or after our wedding to another destination in Europe, it may be possible to book a package with additional hotels and flights home from other cities/countries by booking online through United Vacations, or by calling Orbitz/Expedia/Travelocity (this type of booking is not possible online when booking air and hotel packages through those sites).

Recommended Hotel Locations

Estoril is a beach town in the heart of the Portuguese Riviera, only 20-30 minutes from the center of Lisbon. If you walk 10 minutes down the beachside boardwalk, you'll be in Cascais, which has tons of restauarants, museums, and shopping along cobblestone streets. Sintra is a 15 minute drive away from the water, and is known for its historic palaces and castles (including Pena Palace -- look it up!).

Staying in Estroil or Cascais is the most convenient to the wedding venue, but Ubers are cheap and abundant, so Lisbon and Sintra are also good options.

Our main wedding hotel will be the Hotel Cascais Miragem. The Miragem overlooks the water and is conveniently located within walking distance to both Cascais and Estroil. We've also secured discounts at a few other hotels in the area (see the "Accomodations" page for details).

If you choose to stay elsewhere, here are other suggested hotels:

-The Albatroz Hotel (on the water)
-Sheraton Cascais Resort (not walking distance to the town)
-Farol Hotel (on the water)
-Hotel Inglaterra (in Estroil, about a 30 minute walk from Cascais)
-Grande Real Villa Italia Hotel & Spa (on the water)
